Eligibility Criteria

Education Requirement:

  • Minimum Matric (10 years) education for basic diploma programs

  • Intermediate / F.Sc (12 years) education for Medical, Engineering, and advanced technical diplomas

  • Age Limit: 17–28 years (may vary by institution)

Language Requirement:

English-taught diplomas: Basic English proficiency
Chinese-taught diplomas: HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) required, OR students can first complete a Chinese Language Program

  • Other Requirements: Good academic record, valid passport, and health clearance certificate

Chinese Language Programs

For students who want to learn Chinese language or prepare for degree programs in Chinese, universities offer specialized courses:

Duration: 6 months to 2 years  > Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Purpose:  Improve communication skills for living in China

Prepare for HSK certification (required for admission in Chinese-taught programs)

Enhance career opportunities in business, trade, and cultural exchange

Many students start with a 1-year Chinese language diploma before moving to degree programs in Medicine, Engineering, or Business.
